The red wine Bela Luz, vintage 2022 from the winery Herdade do Rocim has been rated in 2024 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Douro in Portugal.
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of dark fruit, cassis, plum, strawberry, black cherry, mineral spices, peppery notes, and subtle liquorice. Broad and powerful on the palate, but also elegant thanks to the concise acidity, and powerful, fine tannins, with a long, spiced cherry finish. Still needs to mature.
