The red wine Hilandar Saint Sava’s Field Red Mount Athos PDI, vintage 2015 from the winery Hilandar Wines has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points.
Strong ruby garnet, ochre reflections, subtle edge brightening. Dark berryish fruit, ripe plums, herbal-spicy bouquet, a hint of lovage. Juicy and complex on the palate, dark heart cherry fruit, mineral-salty, has good length, a hint of sweet figs on the finish, already easy to drink, has further certain ageing potential.
