Extremely savoury on the nose, black pepper, bitter herbs, broom and garrigue, the cherry fruit remains restrained. On the palate, the wine is very dense with fine-grained tannins, a promising ageing potential unfolds on an oily background, the alcohol is integrated, the full-bodied wine still seems extremely young - and somehow something Pinot-like also comes through.
