The red wine I Balzini White Label IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery I Balzini has been rated in 2012 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich dark ruby. Compact and dense nose, shows pronounced notes of ripe dark cherries, some cloves and bay leaf. Juicy in the attack and on the palate, shows lots of fresh cherry, builds nicely, hearty and clear, full-bodied tannins, good pressure on the finish.
