The red wine Emè Campania Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery I Capitani has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Aglianico, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese from the region Campania in Italy.
Bright ruby. The nose is dominated by oak, very sweet aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and buttery biscuit, followed by rum pot, preserved cherry and blackberry jam. On the palate similar notes of pappy fruit, chocolate powder, full-bodied and rich, unfortunately drying and not harmonious.
