The red wine Bosco Faiano Taurasi DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery I Capitani has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Aglianico from the region Campania in Italy.
Rich, deep ruby in colour with a subtle garnet hue. Very intense and appealing on the nose, initially revealing aromas of cherry compote and fresh fig, followed by some bay leaf, and subtle notes of fine oak. Shows plenty of drive and good freshness on the palate, opening with multi-layered, grippy tannins, unfortunately the finish is a little drying.
