The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery I Cipressi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a slightly lighter rim. Very clear and finely marked nose, initially shows slightly savoury components with notes of thyme and white pepper, then lots of cherry. On the palate, medium weight, lots of cherry, then unfortunately quite drying, with coarse tannins.
