The red wine Idda Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Idda has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
A bright ruby red. Somewhat reserved on the nose, an earthy-mineral touch, notes of cherry and dried oranges. On the palate, juicy tannins, bright fruit and a great finish, a radiant core, still young at the moment, quite drying on the finish.
