The red wine Monte dei Sassi Toscana IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Il Borghetto has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Medium intensity garnet with some brightening. On the nose, some subtlety but at the same time, clearly marked aromas with notes of pomegranate, strawberries and cinnamon. Powerful on the palate, salty notes, finely meshed layers of tannin, very good tension and a sweet texture on the finish.
