The red wine Casa del Merlo Merlot Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Il Filò delle Vigne has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby red in colour, with a dark rim. On the nose, subtle aromas, with delicate hints of black bread crust, leather, ripe berry fruit, cherry, cranberry and liquorice. The palate is pleasantly juicy with clear fruit and slightly vegetal tannins on the back end, somewhat slender on the finish, but it is very drinkable thanks to its delicate salinity.
