The red wine Borgo delle Casette Cabernet Riserva Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Il Filò delle Vigne has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère from the region Veneto in Italy.
Impenetrable ruby with a black core. On the nose, initially pronounced savoury notes of black pepper, a touch of ivy leaf and then lots of cassis. Hearty, but unfortunately somewhat vegetal tannin overpowers on the palate, drying on the finish.
