The red wine Jenio Cabernet Sauvignon Colli Euganei DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Il Pianzio has been rated in 2020 by Kiem Othmar, Staffler Simon with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark garnet. Rich nose of ripe cherry, wild berries and a rich plum aftertaste, underpinned by a light peppery note, savoury, a hint of strawberry confit, minimal fumé. On the palate it shows with a juicy core and vivid fruit, shows pithy, taut tannins, delicate use of wood noticeable, still young, with certain ageing potential.
