The red wine Ricordo Chianti Riserva DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Il Sosso has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby with a delicate lightening rim. On the nose very wood-spicy, in addition shy fruit, some barley malt, toast, in the background some rum pot. On the palate a slightly sweet touch, juicy, but also strongly woody with delicate drying finish.
