The red wine Chianti DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Il Sosso has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, medium dense ruby garnet. Fragrant and inviting nose, opens with subtle savoury notes, of thyme, finely drawn, lots of fresh cherry. Shows accentuated saline notes on the palate, along with fine cherry, grippy tannin, savoury and with good length.
