The red wine Nizza DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Ivaldi Dario has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Deep, rich ruby red. Very open-hearted and inviting nose of rich cherries, bacon, also fleshy and with a slight fumé, clearly spicy, with an aftertaste of truffles and fruit tea. On the palate gruelling tannins, a pronounced animalistic note, rough, with a tarry finish.
