The sweet and dessert wine Piesport Treppchen vorm Berg Riesling, vintage 2018 from the winery Jochen Clemens has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
The fragrance only reveals itself at the very beginning of its opening with slate-spicy and yeasty, balsamic aromas. This is accompanied by a clear apple fruit. In the mouth, a harmonious interplay of sweetness and acidity is embedded in a supple body, the wine has power, but also allows for nuances, and despite all the fire, it finishes with fresh, tactile mineral notes.
