The white wine »Le Troncsec« AOP Pouilly Fumé, vintage 2019 from the winery Joseph Mellot has been rated in 2021 by Gerhild Burkard, Valentine Mühlberger with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Loire Valley in France.
Delicate butter caramel at the start mingles with floral and fruity notes of lime blossom, nashi pear and yellow peach. A chalky, mineral structure with a delicate, juicy texture and fine acidity provides fullness and good length. The delicately tart finish gives it another exciting kick.
