The red wine Coldirus IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery K. Martini & Sohn has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red. Finely drawn nose of ripe cranberry, elderberry and delicate smoke. Also shows a lot of berry fruit with a fine savoury core on the palate, tightly woven tannins support the well-balanced acidity, harmonious in itself, powerful on the finish.
