The white wine Maturum Chardonnay Südtirol DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery K. Martini & Sohn has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Shimmering lemon yellow with green reflections. Pronounced on the nose, notes of passion fruit and banana, with nut butter and some salted caramel, also slightly smoky. Intense on the palate too, crispy toast, roasted almonds, full-bodied smooth texture and good acidity, very salty on the finish, still youthful but already multi-layered.
