Tasting Notes
Clear amber colour. On the nose fir tree honey, dried fruits, apricot, peach, quince and candied orange. On the palate powerful sweetness, honey, rather restrained acidity, fine phenolics, peach juice, roasted almonds, much power and length. Definite potential.
More about the tastingCough cordial, asparagus, a lot of botrytis. Medicinal, but also tuff aromas. Light viscosity on the palate with a good acid backbone, not exuberant in sweetness, fermented to a comparatively high alcohol, but quite harmonious. Honey and rock flour on the finish.
