The sekt 600 Blanc de Blancs Pas Dosé Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Kellerei Kurtatsch has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, rich and brilliant golden yellow with a persistent, dense mousse. Marked on the palate by clear flint notes, beautiful yellow fruit, hints of quince and ripe peach, also a hint of banana, then white bread crust and elegant buttery tones. Very balanced on the palate with well-integrated mousse, spreads delicately over the tongue, hints of candied pineapple, beautiful fruity texture, yet dry, very successful for the first vintage!
