The sweet and dessert wine Weiß Aruna Mitterberg IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Kellerei Kurtatsch has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Gelber Muskateller from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Rich amber, sparkles. Complex and inviting nose, notes of nutmeg, bergamot apple, jasmine flowers, underpinned by spicy notes of cardamom and ginger. Very concentrated on the palate, almost oily texture, but also has racy acidity that balances the sweetness well, long and juicy, fresh finish, very long finish, can still refine greatly with storage.
