Clear ruby with a light garnet rim. Very open and intense nose, showing notes of ripe wild raspberry, cassis and some dried plum. Spicy and full-bodied on the palate, ripe dark berry fruit paired with notes of white pepper. Full-bodied drive on the finish, still a little gruff overall.
