Rich, deep dark ruby purple colour. Dense, appealing nose, full of blackberries and mulberries, then some cardamom, fine chocolate in the background. Flourishes on the palate, lots of dark cherry, blackberry, opens up in many layers, gripping, savoury tannin, long finish of tobacco.
