Dark, shimmering ruby with a clear garnet-red rim. Intense on the nose, noticeable ripeness, pickled cherries, iodine, wet leaves, also slightly animalistic, meaty notes. Hearty and slightly bitter on the palate, firm tannins, fresh and juicy, long finish.
