The méthode cap classique Krone Borealis Vintage Cuvée Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Krone Twee Jonge Gezellen has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay
Just a hint of grassiness mingles with the brioche and lemon notes on the nose. The palate is really light, soft and smooth and comes with a salty edge of savouriness amongst the citrus fruit. This is rather mellow but has a vein of vivid, lively, brisk freshness and a gentle but lively mousse.
