The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery La Combarbia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Initial aromas of oak savouriness on the nose, open into ripe Amarena cherry and plum, also something of dried date, with leather and on tobacco on the finish. Generous on the palate, with fine texture and tightly woven tannin, remains juicy throughout, will develop excellently.
