The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery La Dama has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese, Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby. Intense nose with notes of ripe, pickled cherries, some cranberries, fine smoky notes in the background. Substantial and gripping on the palate, shows very good structure, opens with firm tannin, long finish.
