The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery La Fiorita has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Compact nose with notes of plums and pomegranate, followed by some licorice, exciting. Rich on the attack and on the palate, with lots of dense tannins, ripe, dark fruit, then quite warm and alcoholic on the finish.
