The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery La Fiorita has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, intense ruby. Appealing and intense nose, of violets, then rich blackberry and wild raspberry, dried tomato in the background. Powerful and rich in attack and course, showing lots of sweet berry fruit, opens with dense tannin, spreads richly, firm drive on the finish.
