The red wine Bareglià Vino Rosso from the winery La Fortezza has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Aglianico, Piedirosso, Camaiola from the region Aglianico del Taburno in Italy.
Bright ruby red with brightening rim and subtle purple reflections. Initially grapey on the nose, then ripe sour cherries, rose petal, purples, black bread and barrel savouriness. On the palate young and fruity, underpinned by wood and tannin, unfortunately remains drying and dusty through the finish.
