The red wine Viator Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery La Madonnina has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby purple. Full and dense, full of elderberry, some liquorice, plus black pepper and thyme. Very concentrated palate, compact upfront, then, however, also a lot of textured tannin, dries up a little on the finish, unfortunately, too much focus on the concentration.
