Tasting from 27.08.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, impenetrable ruby. Lush, appealing nose of ripe blackberries and dark currants, some liquorice in the background. Very polished on notion, good fruit and a lot of fine-meshed tannin, but then shows a lot of wood on the back palate, dries out a little on the finish.
