Rich, deep dark ruby. Inviting, multi-layered nose, smells of ripe wild raspberries, cassis and tobacco. Very dense on the palate, shows plenty of rich tannin, encapsulated, but becomes somewhat rough on the finish, still needs some ageing to smooth itself out.
