The red wine Barolo DOCG Bergera-Pezzole Sorì Gepin, vintage 2019 from the winery La Spinona has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, shimmering garnet red. Still quite closed on the nose, with hints of redcurrant jelly, tobacco leaf and sealing wax, followed by earthy notes. Slender-bodied on the palate, then grippy and with gripping tannins, slightly persistent on the finish.
