Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Needs more time to open up, then lots of dark berry fruit, cassis and elderberry, some tobacco. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, unfolds with rich, dense yet supple tannins, builds up in many layers, round, with a long finish.
