Intense ruby red with rusty brown highlights. On the nose ripe cranberries, wild berries, undergrowth, also fine hints of strawberry confit, liquorice and mint. The palate is full-bodied, with a juicy attack, a little tight; will develop. A long finish, but somewhat unrefined.
