Tasting Notes

89
Tasting from 24.11.2020: Ulrich Sautter

Amarena cherry and dark chocolate on the nose, with notes of bitter herbs, wormwood and thyme. The palate has grainy tannins in a suitable, medium-high quantity, the powerful body accommodates a lot of extract, the acidity is rather mild, the finish has a persistent spiciness. Goes well with hearty fare like cassoulet.
