Brilliant, rich ruby-garnet colour. Fine, clear nose, aromas of ripe, fresh cherries, some cloves in the background, inviting. Very clear and juicy on the palate, shows lots of ripe fruit, but also has good freshness, unfolds with polished, firm tannins, spans a wide range.
