The red wine Barolo DOCG Villero, vintage 2017 from the winery Livia Fontana has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, clear light red with a copper shimmer. Somewhat restrained aroma, slightly reductive notes of sealing wax, then ripe cranberry, also a hint of goji berry and mocha. Juicy on the attack, glides through the palate with tightly woven tannins, clear fruit at the core, powerful and long on the finish.
