The red wine Barolo DOCG Fontanin, vintage 2018 from the winery Livia Fontana has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, clear ruby red, brighter at the rim. Very fruity and floral on the nose, with aromas of watermelon, wild strawberry and fragrant red blossom. Much juiciness and salty verve on the palate, drinks really well and is most appetizing. The aftertaste is repeatedly salty and clear.
