The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Madonna Nera has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. On the nose, cedar wood, butter cookies, light caramel, then rich mint, liquorice and blackberry, also elderberries. Opens polished and with a fine creaminess on the palate, beautiful texture, with pithy tannins in the finish and drive.
