Dark and luminous rich ruby red. Appealing nose of ripe blackberries, dried plums, plus rich cherry fruit, in the second range some incense and sage, fine oak. On the palate vivid, lush, with ripe fruit and balsamic hints, follows through with nice acid framework, in the finish a slightly drying and youthful tannin, can still store.
