On the nose, cherry, typical of Merlot is accompanied by herbal, savoury notes, and a sweetened buttercream aroma. On the palate, initially sweet fruit, then a grainy, but also ripe, powerful tannin takes hold, which in combination with ripe acidity creates a vinous red wine.
