The red wine Domaine Louis Jadot Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, vintage 2019 from the winery Maison Louis Jadot has been rated in 2021 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
Peony, smoke, candlewax and walnut skin all take turns to bathe the ripe red cherry fruit in their aromatic light. It is the freshness of the red cherry that fills the palate, ripe but pure, sumptuous but structured. The tannins are still bold and flex their muscles, once they have calmed this will melt into elegance, aroma and fruit. Lovely.
