A sparkling ruby red with a light rim. A delicate and fragrant nose, opening with notes of cloves and a hint of bread crust, followed by beautiful, clearly defined fruit—inviting. Opens on the palate with silky, soft tannins and clear fruit; it has a broad structure, is very supple as it develops, and then reveals firm structure in the finish, with a delicate creaminess.
