The spumante Blanc de Blanc Pas Dosé Metodo Classico VSQ from the winery Marcalberto has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Pale straw yellow with a brilliant reflection and persistent mousse. Initially somewhat closed on the nose, slightly silicone-like, needs plenty of air and time. Then lemon marmalade and white flowers, with a slight hint of flint. Juicy on the palate with a hint of young pineapple, yellow-fruity tension, perky mousse, not particularly long on the finish, should still settle a little.
