The red wine Castello Ginori Toscana IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Marchesi Ginori Lisci has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A rich, nearly matte garnet red. Cherry conserves and strawberries on the nose, fine spices, thyme and tea leaves. Bright on the palate, a dense structure, persistent, complex and powerful, still youthful tannins, somewhat dry on the finish, good ageing potential.
