The white wine Virgola Vermentino Costa Toscana IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Marchesi Ginori Lisci has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Vermentino, Viognier from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A rich, radiant lemon yellow with a golden sheen. A complex bouquet, fine herbs, propolis and bergamot, followed by notes of freshly cut pears, ripe quince and a hint of wet brick. Expansive and dense, enveloping on the palate, with a fresh acidity, salty, with a soft minerality, slightly lean on the finish.
