The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Marion has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvinone Veronese, Corvina, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense and powerful ruby red with slightly brightening rim. Noble vegetal SAVOURY notes on the nose, white pepper, has something of the cigar box in the background. On the palate very DELICATE and salty, wonderful elegance, taut and tightly woven, powerful persistence on the palate gives this Amarone its certain something, good forward ageing potential.
